We have been very busy, we apologise for the slow response to messages and job pricing.

Here's one of the jobs we have done recently.

This Ford Kuga got recovered into us as a non runner. Upon investigation we found that the timing chain between the 2 cams had snapped.

Once we had it stripped, we carried out a leak down test on the valves to make sure no further damage had occurred. They were all ok. We also measured the valve heights to make sure they were all sat the same. We also carried out a bore scope inspection to confirm no valves had hit the pistons.

While stripping the cams we discovered that it had all been apart not to long ago. No.4 injector bolt was tightened onto dirt therefore not clamping the injector correctly, the injector was leaking badly. We had to use the engine crane to remove the old injector.

We also discovered that whoever did it previously had used far too much sealant, this blocked the oil galleries to vital components. They had even used sealant on the chain tensioner that is face fit, this had blocked the oil feed to the tensioner causing the chain to be slack, which eventually snapped.

We fitted new camshafts, tappets, rocker arms, chain kit, gaskets, 1 new injector and timing belt and water pump kit. We also carried out an oil and filter change.

Once we had it running again it appeared to have 2 major coolant leaks, 1 from the EGR cooler and the other from the thermostat housing. These were also replaced.

It now runs very well and after extensive road tests and checks, the customer has it back on the road with a smile.

Here we had a Ford Transit Custom 2.0 ecoblue with a starting issue that we diagnosed with a valve seat problem.

We gave the customer several options for repair with prices. They decided to go with a reconditioned engine.

We then proceeded to remove the engine and gearbox and swap all components over using new genuine gaskets and seals.

Once the engine was fitted we primed the fuel system (saves running the high pressure pump dry), filled the engine with genuine oil and primed the oil pressure before starting. It fired into life straight away.

After a successful leak check, road test, second leak check and levels check the customer collected the vehicle.

They phoned several days later and told us how happy they are and how fantastic the van has been since repair.

Here we had a lovely 1998 Jaguar XJR in for a full front and rear caliper and carrier refurb. We also replaced all 4 brake hoses with top quality helperformance.com stainless steel brake lines. It also received all new front and rear discs and pads. Once completed we drained the entire brake system of fluid and bled the system with new brake fluid.

A massive thank you to M.S Custom Engineering for doing such an amazing job on the calipers. The customer was very happy with the quality.

Here we have another Ingenium timing chain that didn't sound the healthiest.

Once it was stripped we could clearly see the problem. The cams and crank were out of time (although still running), both tensioners were fully extended and both chains were slack.

We carried out the replacement with Iwis chains, guides and tensioners. We also carried out an engine oil and filter change with the updated 5w/30.

Once completed it ran amazingly. Once we were happy after 2 road tests and 3 leak checks we gave it back to the customer who is now back on the road.

Hi all, we have been mad busy recently.

Here are a few of the jobs we have been doing

-Several 1.0 eco boost wet belts.
-A new cylinder head on a E30 BMW.
-A new cylinder head on a 2.4TD Ford Ranger

The BMW cylinder head was very tappy due to the eccentric shafts being worn causing the valve clearances to alter themselves while the engine is running. We fitted a reconditioned cylinder head with all new head bolts, related gaskets, engine oil and filter.

The 2.4TD Ford Ranger came in with potential head gasket issues. We stripped the head off after confirming combustion gases were entering the cooling system. We had the cylinder head pressure test and unfortunately it failed. We sourced a new complete cylinder head from one of our engine parts suppliers along with new bolts, related gaskets, engine oil and filter.

We also have many jobs lined up, we are now booking into July! It's crazy. We appreciate you all.

Here's a couple of jobs we've been doing. I sometimes forget to take pictures as we are so busy.

One picture is Adam carrying out a clutch and flywheel replacement in a honda civic due to a very heavy pedal and a very very low bite point.

The other Jake doing a wet belt on the famous 1.2 Peugeot engine in a vauxhall Corsa.

We are working very hard to get through the work. Our current booking time is approximately 3-4 weeks. We appreciate all of you that come to us.

One of our big jobs this week was a full VXR swap from a right off Vauxhall Corsa VXR into a Vauxhall Corsa van.

We swapped everything VXR related including engine and gearbox, complete front subframe including brakes and suspension, complete rear axle including suspension and brakes, fuel tank with all fuel pipes, wiring loom and ECU, seats, steering wheel and dash clocks.

After solving some immobilizer issues we managed to get it all running and driving perfectly.

We thoroughly enjoyed doing this as it's not your everyday job. We love out of the ordinary. It also turned out the engine was fully forged and the ECU had already been mapped making this little van very lively.
