Just a little change with Mac’s Valeting going forward.
I’ve decided I’m going to take a slightly different approach with the business. Rather than trying to fill every available slot and take on as many cars as possible, I’m going to focus more on my regular customers and the bigger jobs, mainly full valet type jobs where I can spend the proper time getting the car back up to standard.
I’d rather do fewer cars and do them properly than be rushing around trying to fit everything in. I’m still doing this alongside my full-time job, so I think this will work much better for me and for the customers I look after.
I’m also going to be putting more of a focus on regular maintenance valets.
The idea is that instead of waiting until your car needs another full valet, you can keep it maintained regularly so it stays looking good and each visit takes considerably less work.
4 weekly maintenance:
Small – £40
Medium – £45
Large – £55
XL / 7 seater – £60
6 weekly maintenance:
Small – £45
Medium – £50
Large – £60
XL / 7 seater – £65
If you go beyond the 6 week maintenance period, a mini valet will be available up to around 8 weeks:
Small – £50
Medium – £55
Large – £65
XL / 7 seater – £70
The 8 weeks isn’t a hard cut off. If it’s been longer than 8 weeks since the last maintenance, I’ll just have a look at the condition of the vehicle and decide whether it’s still suitable for a mini valet or whether it would be better booked in as a full valet.
Obviously if the vehicle has become heavily soiled, stained or needs considerably more work, it may need a full valet regardless of how long it’s been.
The main aim is just to keep vehicles maintained throughout the year and make sure the service booked actually suits the condition of the car.
I’ll still be taking on new customers when I have availability, but I’m going to be a bit more selective with the bookings I take on.
