My wonderful student Sophie has gone and smashed her driving test today at Merthyr Tydfil Driving Test Centre!
She doesn’t want her face on facebook but I can’t not mark the fantastic occasion of her sailing through her test with only 4 driving faults!
You’re a whizz with your vehicle control and you proved that you’re now safe enough to continue your learning on your own, with nice feedback from the examiner too!

Hey y’all! I’d like to say a HUGE congratulations to my lovely student (& neighbour) Lola who smashed her test this morning in Merthyr Tydfil Driving Test Centre!
First attempt & 4 driving faults is a fantastic outcome, super bragging rights! Especially as we had a couple of drivers do erratic and, quite frankly, dangerous things around us! You responded perfectly & safely and demonstrated your lovely awareness to the examiner, and me. The examiner gave you lovely compliments on the whole drive and I could not be more proud of you!
It’s been a pleasure to teach you & see you conquer the nerves and obtain your dreams! The world is yours kiddo & I can’t wait to see you win at everything you want ###

Hi peeps! How are we all doing in this ‘lovely’ weather?! I’m coping… just about!
I did have some trauma today. I was working away on my computer in the kitchen and could hear a noise behind me, thought it was the dog snuffling something. Turns out it was the biggest butterfly i’ve ever seen flapping about. Any of you know know me will know the terror I was feeling! I’d have given Usain Bolt a run for his money!! Needless to say, the kitchen was entirely out of bounds until other people came home to make sure it had left of its own accord! Side effect of lovely weather I guess! I’m ready for some snow now, roll on insect free winter 🙂

Congratulations Jonny, you sailed through your test at Merthyr Tydfil Driving Test Centre today with just 6 driving faults.
I could not be more proud of you, and I obviously take full credit! 😆😆
It’s been an absolute pleasure teaching you, getting to know you, laughing hard at your, on times, *hilarious* driving faults and endured your incessant singing.

Please join me in saying a huge congratulations to Rhys who absolutely demolished his test today at Merthyr Tydfil Driving Test Centre!

One single driver fault and lovely feedback from the examiner about your driving makes me so proud of you! You always showed up, worked hard, put the hours in, asked questions and got the most out of your learning.
Thanks to mam and dad for their unwavering support and patience taking you out regularly, I know they’re beyond proud!
Keep in touch & I know you will succeed in everything you put your mind to.

Notice to my students…

As you probably know by now we’re on an amber weather alert from tomorrow for extreme heat 🥵☀️
We should be good for lessons, especially those of you who are mornings, but i’ll keep an eye on the car (& her sometimes temperamental air con!) and get in touch if we need to reschedule, maybe to an early morning before it heats up.
With that in mind, keep an eye on yourselves! High factor sun cream, plenty of fluids, avoid being out at the hottest times, stay well, give me a shout if you need to reschedule this week 🕶️⛱️☀️

Another test, another pass with student number 11 this year getting their full licence. So, massive congratulations to Jakub who has passed his test today with ease at Merthyr Tydfil Driving Test Centre.

You have first time pass bragging rights of course, never expected anything less from you, but also driving away with just two driver faults shows your calm demeanour, sensible attitude and lovely control & skill.
It has been my genuine pleasure to share your company and to see you develop your driving skills. You’re a lovely driver and a lovely human being.

Would you look at this smile! And very well deserved it is too! Huge congratulations to Jade passing your driving test today at Merthyr Tydfil Driving Test Centre with just 4 driving faults!
The nerves were very much present beforehand but you started conversations with your examiner, took a second to have a drink and breathe at each stop, relaxed and took control. I could not be more proud of you!!! It was a pleasure to see you pass today & has been a pleasure and a wonderful journey watching you flourish. Congratulations Jade! You’re not getting rid of me that easily… i’ll see you soon! Xx
