👇🏼How to check your oil and why it matters!👇🏼

🚨The oil in your engine is one of your vehicle's most important elements! It keeps all the engine's internal parts moving as they should, and stops them from wearing out too quickly. If the oil level in your engine drops too low, then the lubrication of the engine's moving parts won't be sufficient.🚨

-How To Check-

🟠 Park on a flat surface, switch off the engine and let it cool
🟠Lift the bonnet and locate the dipstick.
🟠Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth
🟠Put the dipstick fully back in, then remove it again to check the oil level. The minimum to maximum amount of oil is typically 1 litre of oil.

🔥Proper Work, Done Right🔥

It’s been one of those weeks where everything’s been flat out but it’s just how we like it. Bit of decent weather for a change as well, which always keeps the team In high spirits😎

We’ve had a good mix in this week, from routine work to proper in-depth jobs:

🟠BMW X5 – in for brakes and a full service, all sorted and running spot on
🟠Audi S3 – full engine rebuild, not one you rush!
🟠Range Rover – A new gearbox and drive shaft fitted.
🟠BMW 1 Series – timing chains and full service, all done before it turns into a bigger problem!

Every job gets done the same way here — no cutting corners, no rushing things just to get them out the door. If it’s in with us, it’s getting done properly.

🚨 Lost Bank Cards – Please Read 🚨

We’ve recently had a number of bank cards handed in after being left at the petrol pumps next to R&J MOT and Repairs.

If you’ve visited the pumps recently, we recommend checking that you still have your card, as it’s easily done when you’re in a hurry.

We currently have several cards safely stored on site. If you believe one may be yours, please visit us with valid ID and we’ll be happy to assist.

Any unclaimed cards will be securely destroyed after 14 days for security purposes.

We’d appreciate you sharing this post to help us return these to their owners and avoid unnecessary stress.
