It is literally meters from the sands of Allonby beach, where on a beautiful evening the most amazing sunsets can be seen. It is a real family business with the Hetherington family residing at Blue Dial now running into the 4th generation with young Joseph and Jack. We are extremely lucky to be feet away from the cycle path. We have an on-site shop The Moody Cow, where you can grab a take away coffee, tea, milkshake or ice cream. We also sell our own fresh, farm milk. We pride ourselves at being a friendly, family park. We have a play park, a football pitch and adequate space around each privately owned pitch. We have some sad news to share, a lot of you will know
Mrs Eileen Hillier, we are sorry to share she died peacefully today. She was 98. Mrs Hillier was our longest ever Blue Dialer, first arriving in 1966, our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

🐶 Its a first for Blue Dial! As far as we know we’ve never had a litter of pups (or any babies) arrive in their caravan!

So a huge congratulations to Lucille and her babies, who arrived a week early! Both are doing well and will be heading to their normal home soon.

Please be aware of delays and road closures around West Cumbria, tomorrow (19th August), please be patient and enjoy the event.

The expected times are as follows -

• Workington: 12:01 to 12:17
• Flimby: 12:12 to 12:25
• Maryport: 12:16 to 12:30
• Allonby: 12:28 to 12:45
• Silloth: 12:44 to 13:04
• Wigton: 13:12 to 13:38
• Caldbeck: 13:30 to 14:00
• Aspatria: 14:00 to 14:37
• Cockermouth: 14:21 to 15:50

Lead vehicles may arrive about 15 minutes before the riders.

Whilst on mobile patrol this afternoon, the teams have been sighted getting a feel for the course.
