🔧 🚨 We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team 🚨🔧
We are a busy, family run garage located on the beautiful Coombe Farm estate, on outskirts of Crewkerne. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, must be capable of working independently and be confident in carrying out a wide range of mechanical repairs to a variety of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks accurately and safely
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised workshop environment
• Heavy lifting of vehicle components or parts as required during repair procedures
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within an automotive workshop
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to perform manual tasks safely and efficiently
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
Job Types: Full-time (Monday to Friday), Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
