Our Story

Specialising in Land Rovers and 4x4’s; we are a local family-run business on the outskirts of Newport, Shropshire. We are passionate about cars and inspired by the drive to provide a top quality, value for money, friendly service. Roger and Steve, our Motor Vehicle Technicians, have between them over 55 years experience in the trade. Roger's vast experience includes independent garages and main dealer training with Citroen, BMW, MINI, Honda and Skoda followed by 5 years in breakdown recovery at the AA, before setting up Clarkes Autocentre. Steve has spent more than 30 years in the motor trade. Along with being a skilled mechanic, his experience includes; bodywork and finishing, classic car servicing, repairs and restoration. Steve has also gained extensive knowledge through working in caravan servicing and repair, damp restoration and bodywork. We pride ourselves on our honest, friendly and reliable reputation and offer a fully prepared workshop with advanced diagnostics and tools.
