☀️ Feel Good Friday

With the summer holidays in full swing, you might spot a few extra little faces popping into the workshop from time to time.

Today was full of curious minds, endless questions, and plenty of fascination with what goes on behind the scenes. Moments like these are a great reminder of why we love what we do—and who knows, maybe we're looking at a couple of future technicians in the making. 🔧🚗

Disclaimer: No heavy machinery was operated while the boys were in the workshop. 🙄 They were safely out of the way and supervised at all times... although productivity definitely took a slight hit thanks to all the questions! 😂

⚠️ Caught Just in Time ⚠️

This Jaguar F-Pace came to us with a snapped swirl flap that, thankfully, was caught before it caused catastrophic engine damage.

Had the broken flap entered the combustion chamber, the result could easily have been bent valves, piston damage, or even a complete engine failure—turning a repair into a costly replacement.

Fortunately, we caught it early, removed the intake manifold, recovered the damaged component, and prevented what could have been a very expensive outcome.

It's a good reminder that unusual running issues, warning lights, or loss of performance shouldn't be ignored. Diagnosing problems early can often save thousands in repair costs.

If your vehicle isn't running quite right, get it checked before a small fault becomes a major one.
