Well what do you know it's been 10 years since we started getting ready to open the doors here at fen view . Myself linda dad and ben who was only 7 at that time ploughed a lot of hours into clearing the place out which was a massive task in its self ready to open the doors on the 1st august 2010. I still remember taking my first booking for a job mr tolfree and his astra and still him and his family are with us and like all of you very valued customers. We have moved on tremendously with equipment now being able to offer carbon cleaning to help get you more mpg and smoother running of your car and even yesterday taking delivery of our new r1234 air con machine to be able to regas cars from 2015 onwards. We have accrued a great team and Young Ben who helped at the start is working here alongside me and linda helping us deliver that family run business we strive to deliver. We cannot thank you enough for your support during those 10 years which have literally flown by and rest assured we shall be here for a long time thsnks you all steve

Hi guys hopefully this finds you all well and safe and you have enjoyed your Easter break. I'm happy to report myself and the gang are carrying on as normal as the current situation allows us to and as a result the doors are open for the foreseeable future to help anyone of you out. We are offering free collection and delivery of vehicles to those in the vunerable category and ask you not to be offended if we use wipes on the interior we have to touch before and after delivery. It's to keep us all safe . I'm also urging you with Mots coming up to check on line or ring us and we will check the expiry date of your MOT as we have had some not extended . Linda,s was one so we are doing Mots as normal. Also because of the extension we urge you to get them done before the six months extension is up. We forsee in October there will be difficulties getting test slots when two months tests are due in one month . Above all we hope you all stay safe during this horrible virus pandemic and together as a nation we can best it. Stay safe Steve

Here at fen view motors I was asked by one of our local farmers can we regas his telehandler air con. You all know me I said let's have a look . Turns out I can do so here we go one happy machine operator that's going to be cool during this year's harvest.

Just recently we have been trialling a new process at the garage called carbon cleaning on our own vehicles. It's a process where via the magic of modern technology a mixture of oxygen and hydrogen gases are fed into your engine and it cleans carbon from the combustion chambers of the engine. The benefits are process are smoother running and better fuel economy. Now I'm a bit sceptical about these modern fixes but allowed the demonstration to be carried out on my truck. Straight away I noticed a smoother mid range power and over a tank of fuel found it did another 31 miles to the tank full of fuel. We are still waiting to hear the results from young Ryon as he agreed to let us try it on his car and so far he has reported smoother power delivery myself and Linda will then negotiate a deal with the suppliers of the machine. If and only if Ryon see,s benefits from the fuel economy increase and we decide to go with this system and we go with purchasing the machine I've decided to pick three of you at random carry out a carbon cleaning of your engine free of charge and welcome your honest feedback on here.

We are very pleased that local man Gavin Philpot has gone out following the closure of the family shop and set himself up specialising in vehicle locks and keys. He has already done some for our customers at Fen View Motors with great success. He is now my preferred locksmith and a sight cheaper than the main dealers. If you need a spare key for the car and getting it programmed as well give us a call and we can pass his number over.

We are all feeling very blessed here at fen view motors. Loads of you are being extremely kind and bringing us all goodies to eat. It's a tough job and my waistline will suffer but we can cope with it. Myself , ,Linda and the boys want to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a prosperous new year. And to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the goodies as well as your continued custom. Take care and enjoy yourselves over the festive season.

Well folks following my offer of a free Mot reminder and all of your likes and responses as well as asking customers at the garage the general response is that you would all like us to remind you. We shall start to collate the information starting June 01 this year and will duly remind you all next year. It will either be in text form or a call to your landline or a pm via Facebook.
