Kevin Hooton became a driving instructor in 2001 and has loved every minute. He loves driving and is passionate about making the roads safer. He is an experienced ADI, ADI trainer, accredited taxi driver trainer and member of the IAM , NTTA , DIA , MSA. He was the founder of his local driving instructor’s association MADIA which he ran very successfully as Chairman for two years before stepping down to spend more time developing Hoot Hoot Driving School.

Icy roads this morning
You should allow at least a 2-second gap between you and the vehicle in front on roads carrying faster-moving traffic and where visibility is reduced.
The gap should be at least doubled on wet roads and increased still further on icy roads.
