Good afternoon,
I wanted to let you know about the outstanding service we got today from Habcheck when, away from home on day one of an intended ten day trip, we found that there was a leak in the LPG system which had emptied the external tank.
I telephoned and left a voicemail on your central number without much hope of a response that would help us. Within a short time however I got a call from Jamie who projected interest and an intention to do what he could to get us assistance. He noted details of the problem, took our contact information and said he would get Habcheck’s nearby service centre to call us. Without much more time passing, Martin at the service centre in Mansfield telephoned and said that he could make time for an engineer to look at our problem if we could get the vehicle to him.
I did so and the problem - which required testing, diagnosis, replacement of the regulator and re-testing of the system - was dealt with cheerfully, quickly and competently by Adam while Martin kept us informed (and educated) about what had been discovered and why the regulator needed replacement. Emily dealt with the necessary administration and our payment of the very fair charge, again cheerfully and efficiently.
We have had a motorhome for the last ten years and have never had service that came near our experience with Habcheck today. We are very grateful to everyone we dealt with. I understand that Habcheck operate a network of mobile engineers who carry out habitation checks and that any significant work which is revealed as necessary can then be dealt with at one of your service centres. That is the route we intend to follow in the future.
