As part of a caravan service we are looking out for things that aren’t right and found this. What’s wrong with it ? 🤔

Unfortunately, yesterdays assistant wasn’t very helpful. She spent most of the day clucking about underneath the caravan and refused to do any work 🤣🤣🐓

Whilst servicing a caravan we found that the awning light didn’t work. After a little bit of fault finding we diagnosed the issue as a corroded wire under the cooker on the other side of the caravan. The wire and connector were both replaced and the light is now working as it should.

Last time out in October the awning light worked fine so it shows how quickly things like this can happen. Another reason to make sure you get your caravan serviced regularly.

The brakes on a caravan we serviced last week were running metal on metal inside the drum. The compound had delaminated from the shoes and disintegrated, causing damage to the drums. Regular servicing helps to spot this sort of thing, before it becomes a costly repair.

Spot the difference. We’ve made a couple of small alterations to the van sign writing which naturally meant we needed a before and after photo 🤣
