Last outdoor shows of the season - Thoresby & Sywell both today Sept 27th. WOW what a huge number of classic cars at Thoresby Hall (Ollerton, north Notts) today. We had a 7-Capri display including one potential new member in a gorgeous Paris Blue 2.8i Special. We caught up with 'Mr Bean' and his Mini at the show and he seems very keen to come to Wonderland 2027 (June 26th & 27th).

We also had a 4-Capri at the 'Pistons n Props' Show at Sywell Aerodrome between Northampton & Kettering. Karen's Sunset Red MKI, Mark's Black 2.0S, Tim's white 3.0S and Craigs 1.6 Laser
What a great end to the outdoor show season.

Next show is the Classic Motor Show (NEC) Nov 13/14/15 - quote our club discount code CCCAPCIN6 when buying your ticket at www.necclassicmotorshow.com

Great day today at Statfold Country Park (nr Tamworth) for the Mustang OC GB National Show. Thank you to Ann-Marie for inviting us and making us feel so welcome!. We had a laugh in the National Fairground Ride Museum (indoors) - Dodgems, Ghost Train, Magic Mirrors, Rocket Ride and more - plus we and had a ride on the steam train. There were 10 Capris in total ... 7 from our club, 2 from King's Lynn and Mick Ward 280 Group - "all for one - and one for all" - all the Capris on one display - awesome!

The Knavesmire 48th Rally at York Racecourse today. First time we have attended this event. Great to see and chat to so many classic vehicles and owners that we have not previously come-across. Our 9-Capri display featured 4xMKIII's either side of the marquee with Chris' RS3100 broad-side at the front. Tim grabbed some brilliant photos down by the entrance to York Racecourse with his white 3.0S. Our line-up: My 2.0S / Tim's 3.0S / Craig's 1.6 Laser / Pete's 2.8i / Chris' RS3100 / Luke's Police tribute / Paul's V8 / Paul's 2.0 Laser / Mark's 2.0S

Classics On The Moor - Sheffield city centre Aug 16th. Thanks to Mark, Tim, AJ & Tracey for a super-relaxed day watching the world go-by on The Moor shopping area in Sheffield. We had A LOT of interest in our Capris all-day-long. The buskers who were further up The Moor came down our way later but failed to stop Mark falling asleep - I even put my up-turned cap on the pavement to collect money for him but nobody parted with any cash!

Eclipse - Not quite what i expected. I was parked on Peafield Lane Mansfield from 6pm to 7.30pm but it didn't really get dark? ... plus i was surrounded by a bunch of other cars and people so restricted what angles i could take photos at. Oh well - at least it was a nice evening for a drive out.

Love this photo taken yesterday at Boston - we managed to get MKI, MKII and MKIII's on the stand at long last

Boston Classic Car Show Sunday Aug 9th. The heat greets you as you pull up on the lane alongside the show field entrance. Another HOT show. Great to see Ray's Gold MKII out and about. Always a great day out and good to catch up with the guys from Fordsport and Richard from Witham Oil who had a stand not far away from us.
