Cruise to the Prom is all about celebrating our diverse Volkswagen community - air cooled, water cooled, electric, van, car, buggy and any other bespoke creations. Not everything is shiny, but everything has a story, so we run our Pride of Ownership awards instead of the traditional show & shine. Our ethos is simple: if you own it and love it, you are proud of it so deserve to be in with a shot at being recognised for that.
Two of our categories are also different to your norm - Joe Bloggs and Mini Dubber - which always throw up some interesting results too! It also doesn't matter where you are parked as our judges will walk every field, so even if you have parked down in yellow field you have as much chance as someone parked in the main red field.
In total we have 24 awards created by Simply Surf Bus ltd to hand out, starting at 2:30pm on the hard standing area. Please come along and join us for the celebration and to find out if you have won a trophy - remember, every vehicle is in with a chance, even the non-shiny ones!
