Unpopular opinion - a properly maintained N47 is a reliable and strong engine… change my mind 💁‍♂️

In other news, book in for your timing chain. Using the Febi kit you get close to original quality without breaking the bank. We’re running an offer during November of £750 timing chain replacement using the Febi kit on the N47 engine - if you prefer, genuine BMW timing kit is available on request for quote.

BMW 118d 125k miles some service history… that being said… it’s just had an JWIS timing kit, rocker cover gasket, fresh oil and oil filter and a new LUK clutch. 12 months MOT.

Up for £2,500 but open to genuine near asking price offers.

62 FAULTS!!! 😱 F33 (335i convertible)
This one was a call out for our coding session - was it as simple as code in a new headlight? Nope.

We coded the new headlight and still the headlight didn’t work!

So, a little digging showed us that the FEM was replaced from a F34 320d (Grand Tourismo) - no wonder there were faults for rear doors - it’s a convertible!

✅Rebuilt the whole coding profile from scratch

We are down to just 11 faults!

A high pressure fuel pump failure is a costly bit of damage - a working used pump with four used injectors fitted and the car is back on the road - this is a cheaper alternative and as the saying goes “it ain’t dumb if it works” and well… the car works.

The usual minimum recommendation is a new fuel pump and four (at the very least) reconditioned injectors for a repair like this, however, with the current high prices of just buying food it can be daunting to face repairs like this , it’s understandable to opt for cheaper used parts.
