Tail Lift Fitter
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience), and Bonus System

Experience Required:
• Mechanical fitting knowledge within an Engineering or Commercial Vehicle environment
• Fitting experience with any DEL, Dhollandia, Anteo or Palfinger tail lifts
• Experience in fitting any column, cantilever and/or tuckaway tail lifts.
• Safe and efficient tool handling
• Appropriate hydraulic knowledge
• Appropriate electrical knowledge
• Welding and fabrication
Organization:
Reporting to; Production Manager
Duties Include:
• Installation and fitting of tail lifts to vehicles
o Reading and understanding drawings
o Reflect drawing requirement in fitting process (cut-outs, ancillary parts mounting positions etc)
o Mounting tail lifts to correct position
o Electrical wiring installation
o Hydraulic connection
o Testing of tail lifts
o Documentation of test results (certification)
o Fault finding and rectification.
o Mounting and connection of auxiliary lights
