CMC Motorcycles Coronavirus Update:-

After the changes made to the lockdown period we can now announce CMC’s staged opening of our branches.

We will be opening our Cannock and Chesterfield branches on Tuesday the 16th of June our opening times will be:-
Monday closed
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-5pm
Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday closed

CMC Coleshill will remain closed until further notice

CMC South Wales will re-open when we have received further clarification from the Welsh Government.

Unfortunately we have had to make the very difficult decision to close CMC Manchester permanently. CMC Manchester has been a five year journey for us from finding premises in 2015 and trading from March 2019 to the 23rd of March 2020. We invested heavily into this venture creating a very special dealership with full facilities for motorcyclists of all types. Our first year of trading was not as good as we had hoped for despite retailing over four hundred new and used bikes in just over eight months. The onset of coronavirus meant we had to be closed at what should have been our busiest time of the year and with now trading being uncertain for the foreseeable future we have had to make the difficult decision to close the dealership. We would like to thank our staff and customers for the support given to us at Manchester, it has truly been a difficult decision to close this CMC dealership. When you visit CMC’s dealerships we will have social distancing measures in place and we may be limiting the amount of people allowed inside when busy. We may be asking customers to wear protective clothing like gloves, masks etc when required and be prioritising customers booked in by appointment. We are encouraging customers to book appointments to help us keep customers and CMC staff safe.

Update from CMC Motorcycles 31st May 2020:-

Thank you for visiting CMC’s page. We are sure you are aware CMC has been temporarily closed since the 23rd of March to comply with Government guidelines to help stop the spread of coronavirus. After the Government announcement on the 25th of May regarding non-essential shops including motorcycle dealerships opening on the 15th of June we had expected that we would be informing you of our plans for CMC from the 7th of June. However after the Motor Cycle Industry Association’s lobbying of our Government motorcycle dealerships are now allowed to open from the 1st of June alongside car dealers and open air markets, well done the MCIA! We therefore will be announcing during the next week our plans for CMC and our dealerships at Cannock, Chesterfield, Coleshill, Manchester and South Wales. These announcements will be made on our website www.cmcbikes.com and on our pages. Thank you again for your interest and we will be updating you soon.

Who would you pick for the best race ever....

After watching the virtual MotoGP race yesterday on BT Sport we got to thinking if you could pick who would be in your "Champion of Champions" race from any rider from any era who would you choose and which track would it be at? You don't have to limit it to MotoGP and the 500 GP days it could include racers from World Superbike, BSB and any other class of road racing and up to a maximum of twelve riders.
