Yamaha’s Sport Heritage range blends the spirit of its celebrated racing past with modern performance and technology—and the XSR900 GP is its striking flagship. For 2027, the new Legend Blue colour scheme pays tribute to French Grand Prix star Christian Sarron and his championship-winning Sonauto Yamaha race bikes.

Light-blue speedblocks flow across the tank and fairings, framed by bold yellow stripes, while yellow racing-style number boards on the front and seat cowl complete the unmistakable 1980s-inspired look. Beneath the retro bodywork sits Yamaha’s modern CP3 engine and contemporary chassis technology, creating a machine that brings Grand Prix nostalgia firmly into the present.
