After 31 years of loyal service, our Sales Director, Steve Wilson, is retiring from Thomas Hardie Commercials.
Steve joined the business in October 1995 as a Trainee New Truck Salesperson and, over the years, progressed through several management roles before becoming a director responsible for New Vehicle Sales & Marketing in 2015. In 2018, he became a shareholder in the business.
Throughout his remarkable career, Steve has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of Thomas Hardie Commercials. From increasing truck sales volumes and growing market share to developing our valued customer base and expanding our marketing team and output, his contribution has been instrumental in shaping the business we are today.
Steve’s last working day will be Friday 16th October, when he’ll bring an incredible career with the business to a close.
As Steve embarks on this exciting new chapter, he’s looking forward to spending more time on the golf course, and, most importantly, enjoying quality time with his wife, Sharon, his two children Megan and Sam, and his much-loved sausage dog, Millie.
Steve will be greatly missed by colleagues across Thomas Hardie Commercials and Volvo Trucks, as well as by the many customers who have had the pleasure of working with him and, over the years, and become good friends.
His dedication, commitment and passion for the business over the years have left a lasting legacy, one that will continue to benefit Thomas Hardie Commercials for many years to come.
