ππ Christmas road trips *should* be merry and bright but they can also come with a few family squabbles along the way! From who controls the music to disagreements over directions, our latest guide shares the most common car journey arguments and how to keep the holiday spirit alive. π

We've worked with a psychologist and pulled together a helpful guide on essential checks to keep your Christmas travels safe and stress-free. π
π
1. Plan out your breaks before starting the journey - we know half way down the road someone will need the bathroom but it's always best to be prepared! π
2. Donβt take on everything yourself - passengers can take charge of navigation, manage playlists, or handle any snacks or drinks. Sharing these tasks can reduce pressure and make everyone feel more in control.
3. Agree on the time before setting off and set a little buffer for late passengers (we all know there will be one π).
4. Set expectations on music and even break timings. Open communication and setting clear expectations in advance can help avoid misunderstandings during the trip which lead to arguments, tension and unwanted stress.
5. Keep your passengers busy so you donβt have to. This is an excellent one for travelling with children or young adults, remember to try and keep them entertained. That could be with games, books, screens or even stops along the way to stretch their legs. It will certainly make the drive much more enjoyable for you.
