A superb example of a Civic Type R, originally supplied by us two years ago and recently taken back in part exchange, as the previous owner returned to upgrade to an FK2 Type R.

This vehicle has clearly been very well cared for during its time away. Since we last sold it, the car has benefited from a range of age-related and preventative maintenance, ensuring it remains in excellent mechanical condition.

A previous advertisement can be found on our page; however, over the past two years the car has undergone further upkeep and improvements, reflecting careful ownership. Follwing changes have been done:

- Brand new genuine Honda 4x Injectors with new o rings.

This one is a completely original, unmodified example that’s been very well looked after and comes with a full service history. Being 16 years old, there were a few age-related bits that needed attention, so the following work has been carried out to bring it back up to spec:

- Full major service which includes a genuine Honda oil filter, genuine Honda PCV valve, Motul 8100 X-cess 5w40 fully synthetic oil, NGK iridium spark plugs, amc oem spec air filter and pollen filter, Meyle HD aux belt.

- Brand new Exedy oem 3 piece clutch kit with genuine Honda MTF3 gearbox oil.

- Brand new drivetec C hook coated discs and pagid oem spec brake pads all around.

- Brand new aircon condenser, genuine Honda uprated aircon relay and regassed.

- Genuine Honda fron arb bushes, Meyle HD front droplinks, Sachs oem rear shock absorbers. (Fronts recently done by previous owner).

- Wheels refurbished in light anthracite grey.

As you can see, all the major work has now been taken care of, so the next owner won’t have to worry about any big bills popping up. The car has just had a fresh MOT and passed with only a single advisory, which has since been addressed and resolved.

- Brand new Nissin (OEM) aircon condensor, New genuine Honda uprated aircon relay and aircon regas.

Very well looked after example that comes with a full service history and a good amount of paperwork. With it being the late model, it benefits from having a factory fitted limited slip differential. There are some age related wear and tear marks as you would from a car of this age but very clean besides that.
