Bowcliffe Hall Private Driver’s Club - Masters Of Motoring - Concours De Elegance 2026.

As a member of the BDC I attended this year’s exclusive & prestigious motoring event.

The whole day was simply amazing, I enjoyed very much spending the day at Bowcliffe, chatting to old friends, new acquaintances & milling around the magnificent selection of super cars.

I personally participated in the concours event. One of my business show cars was displayed on the lawn. A 1996 Jaguar 4.0 XJS Celebration Coupe Final Edition.

Lord Montagu of Beaulieu was in attendance as usual & judged the event.

⚠️ Neglected Fuel Filters? ⚠️

I’ve been noticing all year that every Jaguar
that comes into my workshop for routine maintenance or major recommissions that hasn’t been to me before has had a fuel filter fitted that’s extremely old & more than likely half blocked.

Obviously some people’s beloved Jaguar’s are not getting serviced as well as customers believe or expect.

When was the last time your fuel filter was changed? It’s an important component & regularly replacing it helps greatly to keep your Jaguar running well & on the road to enjoy.

Photos attached taken today of a new customers 1995 Jaguar XJS 4.0 Celebration.
This particular car’s fuel filter has obviously been changed at sometime in the past as they managed to shear off one of the filters bracket retaining studs. 🤦‍♂️
