“Chris Hodgson” has been an established quality car sales person since 1977 and is a trusted and respected name within the motor industry. The business relocated to Ganton Service Station, Staxton on the A64 just near the Staxton traffic lights in June 20011 with Gail and Chris striving to grow the business and improve on the quality of used cars that are handpicked, just for you. Gail and Chris pride their selves in caring for their customers, looking after your individual needs and giving you a pleasant experience when buying a car from us. All our cars have a long MOT and if they are due a service they get one and have a comprehensive parts and labour warranty for 1,3 or 6 months included in the price. For your peace of mind we HPi check all our vehicles, which means, they are checked for mileage discrepancies, outstanding finance, and insurance claimed recorded accident damaged. Extended Mechanical Warranties are available, for 6 months, 12 months or 24 months, (ask for details of prices) and we now offer finance (subject to acceptance, T’s & C’s apply). We welcome the views of all our customer’s and whether you are buying a car at £2,330 or £23,300 you will be treated professionally and looked after. When you come in and see us, if you don’t find the car you are looking for just let us know. Read our very happy customer comments:
Hi Gail. 20/10/2014
I just wanted to let you know that the Toyota Auris I purchased the other week is a fantastic car! Not only is it economical both on petrol and tax, it travels really well as I went down to Telford from Scarborough! It is a longish journey, 3 3/4 hours, and it drove like a dream. For a 1000cc engine I have no complaints regarding
motorway driving as it holds it’s own and makes over take safe! The level of customer service you gave to me was second to none! It made the whole process of buying a car painless. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris Hodgson Car Sales Ltd to any of my friends or associates. Sharon of Scarborough

“I unhesitatingly recommend Chris Hodgson Car Sales Limited. I reserved my X Type Estate via the telephone, and drove up from Suffolk to collect it over a week later. Both Chris, and his wife Gail were professional and courteous at all times (in fact, one could say that they both went above and beyond),
And I will contact them when I am looking for another car, even though they are over 200 miles away from me. Such honest and genuine service is becoming harder and harder to find in the used car trade, but Chris and Gail still have it. With very grateful thanks.” Mark - Suffolk"

The corsa - I'm loving it! Feels like I've been driving it for ever. Your customer service, patience and kindness were second to none and I can't thank-you enough; having worked in retail for a number of years (before changing to education) and delivering and receiving customer service I know it is paramount to any business - yours is truly one of the best experiences I have had.
