This 1999 Land Rover TD5 came in as nothing more than a rolling jigsaw puzzle 🧩
No interior, no lights, boxes of parts everywhere 📦🔧 — and half of them didn’t even match the vehicle 🤦‍♂️

Tracking down the right bits was a mission on its own but now it’s fully rebuilt with a fresh interior, full lighting, and all the accessories fitted ✨🚙

🔧 Vauxhall Antara – Timing Chain Failure & Missing Guide! 🔧

This Vauxhall Antara came in with some serious rattling noise . After stripping it down, found the timing chain guide completely missing… and where did it end up?
➡️ In pieces inside the sump and the oil pick‑up!

This is exactly why timing chain issues should never be ignored. Once those guides break up, the debris gets dragged through the engine, starving it of oil and risking major internal damage.

carried out:
✔️ Full timing chain replacement
✔️ Removed sump and cleaned out all guide fragments
✔️ Cleared and cleaned the oil pick‑up
✔️ Fresh oil & filter
✔️ Engine running smooth again
