Real good day at the Cool Flo, Spikes Vintage Classic Collective today. Real good collection of cars across the board. Met some great car guys and a couple of hundred miles done in the 55 Chevy. Looking forward to next year. I took some pictures which I’m going to try and post here.

Nice little job turned up the other day, rectification work on Tony’s Splitty. It’s had some work done somewhere else and I have been commissioned to finish it off ready for paint.
First thing was to survey the whole thing and work out a plan of attack.
Due different working processes we are getting it dipped and starting from basics with new rear floor and associates parts etc when it comes back from the dippers. Certain preparation was required, I made a body dolly then stripped the running gear etc off and ground a free flanges off the pinch welds to make sure the joins get fully de-rusted.
Thanks goes to Tony for entrusting his pride and joy to me, this is going to be another JB’s epic journey.
