A look back at a fantastic day at the Jaguar Drivers’ Club Area 33 Car & Bike Show!

19/08/2026

We recently had the pleasure of attending the Essex Jaguar Sports Car Club monthly breakfast meet, where we had the opportunity to discuss some of our recent findings with the Jaguar XK8 and XKR.

A big thank you to Doug for organising the fantastic event. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces, as well as meeting some new members of the Jaguar community.

As always, it was a fantastic morning surrounded by beautiful cars, great company and a shared passion for all things Jaguar.

Vehicle Health Checks – More Than Just an MOT

An MOT only confirms your vehicle meets minimum legal standards on the day of the test. It doesn’t tell you what’s wearing out, what’s about to fail, or what could cost you money in the near future.

Our vehicle health checks are designed to go further.

We carry out a comprehensive multi-point inspection covering critical components such as engine oil condition, braking systems, suspension, and tyres. This is combined with a structured road test to assess real-world performance, handling, and drivability—helping us identify issues you may not yet be aware of.

We also perform a full diagnostic scan of your vehicle’s onboard computer systems. This allows us to detect stored and pending fault codes, including intermittent issues that may not trigger dashboard warning lights.

You’ll receive a clear, detailed report outlining:
• Current vehicle condition
• Any faults detected (past or present)
• Advisory items to monitor
• Recommended maintenance priorities

This puts you in control—allowing you to plan ahead, avoid unexpected breakdowns, and manage repair costs before they escalate.

Don’t wait for something to go wrong.
Book a vehicle health check today and stay one step ahead.
