Vauxhall combo van had completely lost its clutch pedal, once the gearbox was removed we found that the thrust bearing had failed, leaking fluid into the bell housing and contaminating the clutch plate. A new 3 piece clutch was fitted along with a new master cylinder.

Been a busy few months for us, but these pictures highlight just how important regular servicing and Maintenance is for your vehicles, this customer contacted us concerned about a very nasty rattling noise, we immediately advised that running this engine anymore would cause catastrophic damage. As you can see the timing chain tensioner failed in turn causing damage to the chain guilds and chain…….the initial cause!!!! Overdue engine oil and filter change, luckily we caught this before the engine was completely destroyed, and had this customer mobile again as quickly as possible 🚕🚕🚕
