Range Rover Classic bobtail td5 conversion over in the workshop for some general maintenance & further upgrades.

LOF Clutches - Heavy Duty 4x4 Clutches SMF power spec kit, rear main oil seal, new slave cylinder & associated parts as always.

Full top end rebuild after a bad overheating incident so we got the cylinder head pressure tested, skimmed & set to work.

New bolts, gaskets, bells & whistles including new engine oil & filters.

Rear relocated twin battery set up behind passenger seat mounted on a bespoke battery tray.

New auxiliary pulleys, viscous fan bearing & belt.
New injector wiring loom.

New water pump, centrifugal filter o ring & gaskets.

Replaced a leaking sump gasket & oil pump bolt replaced with generous amounts of LOCTITE.

He has just come back from a trip to wales exploring the byways & other than a blown front differential due to an overly heavy right foot it returned without issue.

We have done what we do best & a very happy customer is the perfect result! 😇☑️

This well looked after black on black Discovery 2 metropolis came to us seeking more power & drivability after numerous issues with the engine & gearbox so we set to work.

We completed an automatic to manual conversion with various new parts as follow:

LOF Clutches - Heavy Duty 4x4 Clutches supplied us with a SMF power spec clutch kit, pioneer 4x4 master to slave braided hose, new rear main oil seal & slave cylinder.
New pushrod, HD release bearing etc for the manual set up as always. ☑️

We also installed the manual pedal box with new master cylinder.
Manual lower gaiters & new selector rubber cover.
New metal manual console cover & leather gear gaiters.
New transfer box input seal & fresh fluids throughout.
EGR delete.
New fuel filter.
4 bolt rear prop conversion.
Cut out the old & welded on the new spring & shock hanger bracket & some rear chassis welding.

Td5 Inside / Performance Inside sorted the full power remap with popcorn limiter as always. ☑️

We changed the BCU setting using Nanocom from auto to manual to complete.

Drove in just about with little power & an overheating gearbox..

Drove out again with tons more reliable power & silky smooth gear changes, keeping this lovely truck on the road for many more years to come with an over the moon customer. Which is the perfect final result as always! ☑️
