Well, what can I say. I picked up a 1994 CBR900RR-R Street-fighter in December 2023, Wow, such a long time ago already. Now I'm no mechanic but I am handy with some tools and not adverse to working on my own bike, however, figured I bit off more than I could chew, as there was a lot of work. So after a lot of searching and calling people all around the South East, who could and could not take on the project, I found DFX Moto and Marcellous. There is nothing he doesn't know about bikes. After some lengthy conversations, we both knew what was best for the bike and the build. I am in an enviable position that I was able to put time and money into the build and Marcellous was able to have the bike on the table for 3 months, whilst the work was being done over the winter months. I know a lot of people have seen the bike and commented during its time there. There was a lot of work to do, and some ingenious touches were made. There was one teething moment as the rear of the bike was running a car wheel conversion and a lot of engineering was required for the the off set, however after a setback, I have now fitted an 8 spoke VFR wheel, to suit the single sided swing arm, and it looks better for it, it looks the nuts now! I can honestly say I have never met a man with such enthusiasm, passion, drive and commitment to motorcycling as Marcellous. So, if its servicing, bike building, fabrication, or a chat and a cup of tea, subject to advance notice, then head to DFX Moto and speak to Marcellous, and take a look at the bikes he's built for his personal collection. Have a chat, take you're time and discuss what you'd like. You wont find a more capable, skilled and qualified bike builder anywhere. Someone who knows about bikes, fixes bikes and builds bikes. I would also advise you allow some artistic license if you do have a build or significant work done and don't be afraid to be different when it comes to custom made or fabricated parts, as I have some on my bike. Top man. Thanks Marcellous for now, as we have the finishing touches to come. Many thanks Marc.
