Is it worth buying two books just so you can get a free copy of Under Asian Skies? This is what one of the reader reviewers on Amazon wrote about the book.

'Sam Manicom is a motorcyclist who writes in an engaging and straightforward way about the highs and lows of travelling the world on two wheels. There's practical advice here for those who might want to follow in his footsteps and there's plenty of hair raising stories about life on the road (crashes, sickness, run-ins with officials, breakdowns) for armchair travellers. He writes about the people he meets (fellow travellers and locals) with honesty and empathy, and his optimism seems to carry him through the dark times, helped along by the kindness of strangers. If you've enjoyed the writing of fellow long-distance motorcyclists like Ted Simon or Elspeth Beard, then this series comes recommended. Start with "Into Africa" and then this one. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
