!Flexible working opportunity – Part Time Trailer Driver!

We are a locally based vehicle logistics firm on the hunt for a couple of new drivers to join our busy single car trailer team at our busy Kent branch!

Truck and trailer is provided and is stored at our secure compound in ME postcode in kent, trailering/towing experience is required.

This is a flexible part time role and would suit someone who is able to offer 3+ days on average, enjoys driving and travelling around the country. This role is very suited to retirees/early retirees but open to all.

We are about offering top service to customers and having fun. Our driver turnover rate is low as most find the role is fun and enjoy working with our planning team.

Part Time Trade Plate Drivers Required (3 flexible days pw avg)

Due to increasing volumes, we are looking to expand our community of trade plate drivers. The role is to assist with the delivery and movement of new and used vehicles from retailers to their new owners, or between retailers.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is perhaps retired / semi-retired, or who runs their own remote business, and is looking for a few days work each week around hobbies and other commitments.

Our team members should be presentable, generally fit, enjoy driving (and traveling on public transport!), have a driving licence with a maximum of 3 points, and have held a full UK licence for 10+ years. Ex-automotive experience such as Sales Executive/Manager/GM would be an advantage.

Full detailed training will be provided. A smartphone (iPhone or Android) is required to complete each movement.

This exciting new role is to assist our current logistics team, based at our office in Maidstone. The role is to maintain and build relationships with our customers, book new and existing jobs, coordinate and plan current bookings, communicate and manage our driving team and to assist in other office duties.
Reporting to an experienced Business Development Manager, where training and coaching will be given with the prospect of becoming a BDM and having your own customers to manage. The person will need to smart, driven and career motivated, great at problem solving, good telephone manor, organised and meticulous.
