These motorcycle parts were sent in to remove the surface tooling marks. The tooling marks could not be felt but were visible and these are new components. Following vapour blasting / honing, the parts have a consistent satin brushed finish

Vapour blasted Yamaha RD350 carbs before and after

Yamaha RD carbs. Originally black painted the owner preferred the bare aluminium finish. The bike had been stood for a long time and was badly corroded internally and externally, the jets were tarnished and blocked. After cleaning, the jets and some internal parts spent some time in the ultrasonic tank. The ultrasonic tank is regarded as the way to go for carbs but I disagree. Many carbs are manufactured in a metal called Zamac. The Zamac can go dull grey and dark even using specialist carb cleaning fluids. Much better to blast the bodies in my opinion

Had a batch of Pre War BSA single parts for blasting. I think the engine has been stood for a long time. The parts were pretty rough although once cleaned, they are in very good order showing very little wear
