We recieved a phone call from this customer that when breaking he was being pulled to one side and when pulling away he felt that he was needing to use the accelerator heavier.

We asked him to bring the car in as soon as possible for inspection as this was a dangerous situation.

Upon arrival the red edge of the brake disc was a warning sign to us that there had been heat dissipation, moving the vehicle into the garage another warning sign was the vehicle hardly moving using the clutch.
On the ramp with a closer inspection the discs were pitted/scored and the pads where well used. The offside rear pads were so thing the caliper had pushed too far out and seized.
New discs, pads and a caliper later and this customer is back on the road safely.

This air filter on one of our services carried out recently was absolutely filthy.
Customer had DPF issues but the vehicle had not been serviced in a while.
Contaminated oil and filters have a massive part to play in engine performance.
Make sure you keep up with regular servicing for the longevity of your engine

Customer came in this week with a Land Rover Freelander 2 having issues with loss of power steering and a battery light illuminated on the dashboard.
Upon inspection the auxiliary belt had snapped due to the over running alternator pulley failing.
Pulley replaced with a new belt,the vehicle was back up and running all systems operating as normal

One of our customers had a vehicle recovered to us recently.
The vehicle came in with oil pressure issues, upon our initial inspection we noticed that the wet belt had started to deteriorate.
In turn small fragments of the belt are sent through the oil system.
We advised the customer that a lot of new parts were needed and a good strip down to assess the oil pump and other components where the fragments could block vital oil galleries.
One of the pictures shows the oil pump pickup pipe completely blocked which in turn will starve this engine of oil.
With all the works carried out with all relevant parts being replaced this vehicle fights to live another day.
Lack of oil changes caused this belt to start breaking up at 33k thousand miles.

Customer came in with a smell of fuel in the cabin, our investigations found a crack in the EGR valve.

Customer came in this week with an engine management light on and a previous garage had told them a new fuel pump was needed at a cost of £1400 plus fitting costs.
After an investigation by our technicians it was a faulty timing solenoid valve.
A new part was purchased at a fraction of the cost and this vehicle was running like brand new with 200k on the clock.
A few more years left in it yet 👌

Customer came in with serious knocking issues and very poor handling.
Previously been to another garage but they could not find the issue, one of the front shock absorbers had completely emptied itself of fluid so had no damping effect.
We fitted two new shock absorbers to the front of this vehicle and it drove like brand new and handled so well.
The customer was extremely happy to be able to drive safely and feel comfortable driving their vehicle again.
