JOB ADVERTISEMENT:

Good morning one and all. Cols campers are currently on the lookout for a part time member of staff to join me here in the workshop. 😁🚐🔨

Job details:

- General Campervan workshop assistant who can help with a multitude of tasks which can be anything from cleaning, cutting, using power tools, packing and packaging, occasional video and social media help (if one possesses the skills and interest to do so), and just general help around the place.

At the moment. I'm only looking to get someone in for a couple of days a week, but depending on how the work goes and how much can be taken on, this could most definitely increase. I would just need the day pattern to be consistent so that work can be planned to suit 2 persons being available. This could be ideal for someone looking for extra work, or someone working alongside studies who is naturally hands on. Hours would be 10am - 6pm with breaks in between. I would be open to a carpentry apprentice also.

Applicants must have:

- drivers license (not necessarily a vehicle as my van is available)
- enough experience with tools to be comfortable with drills/saws etc.
- an interest in building and carpentry
- preferably a lifestyle that involves fitness/outdoor activities/a wish to travel
- local to the Netley area, or willing to travel

Had a lot of fun building these custom wall panels for a recent customer and their peugeot partner 😎🚐🔥

Sometimes when they see something cool on the socials, you gotta make it even better than that. And although many will think these lose a fair bit of space, once someone knows what style they want their adventure wagon to be, best to stick with it.

Can't wait to see how this one comes out once it's all painted!

All the grooves were routered out with a v cut piece giving a lovely cladded effect texture 🤟

Rock and roll frame assembled and fitted ✅

They are going to build the rest of the bed themselves, hence no cushions, but at least they can be sure that the bed is correctly put together and bolted in place for a safe and sturdy fix.

Another custom bed and storage unit build complete in our customers VW transporter ✅

This popular system allows for the whole back space to be utilised as a GIANT bed and also offers sooo much storage.

With two massive 920mm heavy duty pull out drawers and an extra 500mm of open cubby space - both accessible from the top - this design offers a great storage to keep it neat and tidy when on the road. And the drawers can second as a worktop when extended out 🍖

This particular bed also has a 350mm fold up extension to allow for more bits and bobs to be stored when in transit (e.g the dog 🐶)

Another one of our super popular, handmade, custom, L-Shape slide out beds with fixed and open storage, as well as a pull out kitchen system for cooking up a storm in the great outdoors 🍽️🏕️

This one has gone into a Fiat doblo, and was made specific to the size requests of the customer. Allowing enough headroom and sleeping space for ultimate comfortability 👌🚐🤩

The fixed L area has also been made to fit a low profile fridge in one half, offering a great storage solution 👌💪🚐

Mattresses and covers are also available on request***

A Recent furniture kit out for this T6 long wheel base 🚐

The customers wanted something completely custom to their needs and something that was similar to designs they've had in the past with previous campers.

With a good size kitchen/storage unit that can house everything they need and a big double size pull out bed with under bed storage, this one is ready for an adventure 😁🏕️🔥🥾

Really enjoyed the build process on this one 👌🚐

One of the usp's for our builds is the fact that we've got the ability and experience to make everything extremely custom to the needs and specifications of our customers with a variety of materials/finishes to suit.

We're getting extremely busy for this year which is fantastic and have a HUGEEE build coming start very soon, so eyes peeled for that one 👀👇🚐

2x Windows in for one of our lovely customers on this cold and wet Sunday. Windows are absolutely ideal for offering a light source, ventilation (if they can open) and a view from the inside. And they just generally make the space look much bigger. 🤙😁

We've been super busy since getting into the new workshop but, really slow on getting some content up for you guys to see what's happening in the cols campers world..... But, I've got some awesome vids of the recent builds still to come so watch this space 👀👇

With enquiries now really picking up, we're currently booked out until the second half of April and do not seem to be slowing down..
So, if you've got your dream van on your mind, then get in quick quick 😁🚐

A belated happy New year to one and all! ❤️🚐❄️🎅

It's been an incredible 2025 at so I just want to say a massive thank you to all of our fantastic customers who have got themselves on the road to the good life and been part of the journey so far.

Building these campers has been one of my favourite adventures so far, and it's only just beginning! 😁

As you can see, we've now moved location to a bigger and better workshop which has got me absolutely stoked for the upcoming builds. And we already have an extremely busy build schedule for 2026, which is just incredible!

Wishing everyone an amazing 2026 full of all the good vibes and hopefully a adventure wagon of your own.

You know where I am when you're ready to get on the road to the good life 😎🚐
