Sometimes the best reason to cross an ocean is what you find on the other side of the viewfinder. James Kenning has sailed thousands of miles aboard ARKYLA, but he hasn't simply recorded those miles in a logbook. He has also photographed them.

Remote anchorages. Atlantic skies. Caribbean islands. Yachts, wildlife and the moments between passages that remind you why you went in the first place. His work has gone on to receive multiple photography and writing honours from the Cruising Association and World Cruising Club, with ARKYLA herself appearing on the cover of the 2025 Cruising Association Handbook.
