Hi all,

It's been awhile and i owe you all an apology.
Ive had some personal things going on which if you know me i'm a open and honest guy so ill try my best to explain.

A few months ago i was unexpectedly made redundant from a job that i put my heart and sole into. With that it also put my family at risk, risk of losing my home and everything i owned. I'm not going to get into why it all happened but im on the other side now.

I've now with my former manager started our own business doing exactly what we did previously.

Where does that leave axles?

I still want to help where i can, mainly doing the hard bits...
Tube repairs, shaft removals etc, realistically i'm not going to have the time for "full" builds. But, i will be here for advice and to point people in the right direction.

So with that, i apologies to you all.
There are some other great builders out there so help is still there.

Kens 106 axle

Suited and booted with the finest upgrades we built this with a new pair of 25mm torsion bars and 25mm arb to suit. A set of BakerBM soild mount kit securing it to the car. With Ken being local I decided to build this one on the car. I was able to set the height to kens requirements and gather some data for future builds.
Ken provided some excellent hospitality and everyone was happy.

Well another year is nearly done

Big thank you to everyone, not just to those that have had beams from me but to those who support us.

I've tried this year to take on as much as I can to support those in need and also help everyone where possible.
I will continue to do the jobs others can't, I especially enjoy the challenge.

We've repaired a good amount of tubes this year, and going forward we will continue. I'm still investing in tooling and making jigs.

Next year will be limited slightly as I'm due to get married - I know how annoying right 😅

Apologies to those I haven't got back to I've been having a issue with messages it seems.

Anyway from Emily, Mia and Myself Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all, and I hope to see some of you in the new year

Ali dropped this off to me needing a full rebuild due to its unknown condition. Stripped and rebuilt and finished in powder coat. Treated to a set of BakerBM solid mounts and a fresh pair of new hubs.

I collected this one from James
James told me it had been sat for a number of years which unfortunately led to it being seized on one side. Never the less I got it apart and but one shaft was fully stuck in the tube. I managed to remove it but after measuring the inner seats with a bore gauge it was showing seat damage which isn't unsurprising.
This led to us sourcing another tube, although it seemed ok to the eye one end was slightly out of trueness leading to repairing on end and seeing it's right.
The usual process after and a good touching of powder coat and James opted for some new hubs to finish it off.

A decent amount of work but rewarding in the end. Another 309 saved and to see the road again

Both suffered with bad wear and ovalling on the outer bearing seat. Inner bearing seat is crucial on these repairs. I'd still like to think I can repair 90% of tubes.
That said I like to call them 30 year old can of worms.

Got a seized axle or tube give me a message I'll certainly give it ago, always up for a challenge.

Nice simple rebuild for Kyle's Citroen ax
No frills just the essentials, I found a broken and bent stub axle so I replaced that with a good used part.
Some polyurethane bushes to be fitted at a later date.

W***y delivered this desperately needing some new shafts, w***y decided to supply his own which I fitted and refitted the all imported seal cups. A fresh set of mounts was also fitted.
