There is absolutely no doubt that the country is looking forward to the lifting of restrictions on the 19th July…….

However, whilst covid cases continue to rise and our trusted scientist cannot bring themselves to agree with the governments laidback attitude to the risks that this date is going to give towards the increase in Covid cases across the country, as well as our own community….

1st Class Tyres & Autocare will continue to politely ask for all customers to ensure they wear masks whilst on our premises until it is accepted that cases are truly dropping….

The safety of our staff and their families, as well as the well being of our valued customers is far to important to currently remove this valuable protective measure….

We sincerely hope our customers understand our stance and continue to support us as well as protecting each other, by just wearing a mask when visiting our company, as well as other businesses around our community.

As always, free masks shall be made available to anyone who visits our centre 😉

We felt really humbled today to be able to gift Keith from Dunton Bassett with an early Christmas present of an IPad!

Keith, at the young age of 77, only retired a couple of months ago, from driving ambulances around South Leicestershire for the past 57 years! Obviously seeing first hand the terrible impact that this pandemic has been on everyone in his final year of work.

It was because of the misery of 2020 that 1st Class Tyres, with the support of 92fm - Cross Counties Radio, as well as the backing of ‘General Tyres’, decided that we would this year ‘pay it forward’ and allow our local community to tell us who should deserve our prize of an IPad this Christmas.

From the many entries that we received we asked a familiar figure, County Councillor, Rosita Page, to do us the honour of reading through them all and choosing the entry that most appeals to deserve our prize, for this we thank her for her valued time.

Rosita chose the email sent in by Sam, daughter of Keith, who explained how truly proud of her father she was for the ‘half century + ‘ commitment that he has given to Leicestershire Ambulance Services, how over these years, he has shared stories with her of the lives he has saved as well as the new lives he has helped bring into this world......and just how much she feels he is the pinnacle of someone who has always put his community first.

We all agreed! So today we all turned up (socially distancing, of course!) to Keith’s bungalow in Dunton Basset to surprise him with his Apple IPad and to congratulate him on his years of service.

It’s time for 1st Class Tyres & Autocare and ‘General Tyres’ to offer everyone another fantastic Christmas giveaway....over the last 6 years we’ve given away IPads, Xbox’s and PlayStations and this year it’s the turn of the ‘10.4” 32gb APPLE IPAD’ again!

This year though, is like no other year! COVID has affected everyone’s lives in one way or another, and as we enter a second lockdown, we want to bring some cheer to the town and surrounding villages....

So we are giving a whole new approach to our giveaway.....we don’t expect a purchase, we don’t insist on a like, there’s no demand to share either......although any of the above would be nice😉

This year, in partnership with 92fm ‘CrossCountiesRadio’ Lutterworths very own local radio station, as well as our great local Facebook forums....we’re literally giving away an IPad and all you need to do to get it.......is hope you’ve done something sooooo special for someone you know, that they go to the trouble of emailing [email protected]....and let them know about it!
