It’s time to get back out there telling you lovely stories about our wonderful customers.
This morning I handed over a Ranger Wildtrak to Nick ‘The Fish’ Ford. He is a lobster and crab fisherman working out of Poole harbour. We have dealt with Nick for many years and supplied all sorts of Rangers with special Linex load liners to protect from sea water. Must have a factory fitted tow bar as well!
I was off on holiday tomorrow sailing via Brittany Ferries in Poole so I said would drive the Ranger down myself. Obviously we had to do the handover overlooking the sea or it wouldn’t have been right.
It works both ways though. Nick once supplied me with a batch of lobsters that he had caught that morning. Cooked at our beach hut that evening it was a pretty amazing experience. As was meeting him for the ‘weigh in’ at Wareham out of the back of his Pride Orange Ranger.
Every so often I’ll get a pic of Nick’s Ranger hauling his boat out of Kimmeridge Bay or some dolphins swimming alongside him just to make me jealous as I sit at my desk. I even had one of him walking his daughter down the aisle in a rare day without his wellies.
We love seeing what customers get up to in the vehicles that we supply. We also pride ourselves on knowing all the little quirks of what they need and even reminding them that it’s time to plan ahead and think of the next one. We like to think of ourselves as the person riding shotgun who gives the best advice on vehicles when you ask for it.
Already sorted my lobster order for August. Happy days 😊
