Ludlow Castle Motor Club Ltd Local motor club for Ludlow and the surrounding area's. There is now a revival in this aspect of Motor Sport with a number of members competing on Road Rallies.

Ludlow Castle Motor Club was formed on Friday 28th April 1950 mainly as a club supporting motor cycle events…..not many people had cars in those days! A change of direction took place in 1965 when the club withdrew from the Auto-Cycle Union and joined the RAC to concentrate on motor car oriented events. Over recent years the main emphasis of the club has been towards stage rallying and it boasts m

any successful members including Mark Perrott, National Champion, Richard Gough, five times winner of the Famous Woodpecker Stages ,

In previous years club members were very active ( and successful ) on the Road Rallying front and organised one of the most popular events, the Peak Revs Road Rally. Apart from organising club events such as Autotests and Scatters LCMC have for the past seven years jointly promoted the National “A” Kerridge / Mutiny Rally which raised the profile of the club tremendously. Whether you are a competitor, wish to help marshal on / organise events or just want to have a great social life come and join the friendly club which meets at Ludlow Brewery, on the second Wednesday of each month at 8.00pm. 📍 Location: Sweet Lamb Rally Complex
🏁 Stage Length: 4-mile stage, with 24 competitive miles in total
📄 Licence Required: RS Interclub Stage Rally Competition Licence (or higher)
👥 Who Competes: Driver and co-driver
📝 Notes: Safety notes permitted
🚗 Eligible Cars: Any car complying with MSUK regulations (see event regulations for full requirements)
💷 Entry Fee: £395
📅 Entries Close: Sunday 7th June
🔢 Entry Limit: 60 places
🏆 Awards: 1st–3rd Overall plus 1st in each class
⏱ Timing: Timed exactly the same as a stage rally event
🔧 Service Crew: Centralised servicing, so a service crew isn't essential… but you might want to bring someone along to keep the bacon butties coming! 😂🥓

Entries still available for the Grooms Garage Sweet Lamb Rally Time Trial,
Come and use the event as a test for the Nicky Grist Stages which is 3 weeks later,
A fantastic 4 mile stage (3 one way and 3 in the opposite direction) using both sides of the Sweetlamb Motorsport Complex the event is the perfect opportunity to make set up changes throughout the day to fine tune your car set up and compare times with fellow competitors as well,
At just £395.00 this is cheaper than any test using a fantastic stage by kind permission of Jon Bennett Evans

Morning all,

For those who may not know, it is with sadness we share the news that long time Ludlow Castle Motor Club member John Worthing sadly passed away yesterday after a short illness. John was an active supporter of the club's events over the years, perhaps more well known for competing in a Mk1 Mexico and Mk2 on historic stage rallies, more latterly taking part in numerous classic tours in a variety of classic cars.

Our condolences go to his wife, Mary, and the rest of John's family. We will share funeral details as and when they are available.
