Just like to share a recent repair we carried out on this Kia Stinger, which the customer paid for as didn’t want to go the insurance route..
We discussed the pro’s and con’s of the different repair methods ie. repair or replacement.
A repair plan was put in place, the car was booked in. We are happy with the results.

We’ve had this lovely older Range Rover in this week. Due to the panels being aluminium we decided to try the awesome Keco glue pulling system, really happy with the results..
The motor industry has changed so much in the last few years, with automotive advancements, the repair process has changed significantly to accommodate this.

Benefits to a glue pull repair:

This customer came to us, Alloygators had been fitted by another garage, they claimed to have fitted 000’s before. The customer was dissatisfied by the fitment carried out and bought to us for a second opinion and to have them corrected.
On first inspection we noticed the gators not sitting correctly causing the tyres to lose pressure, they were not correctly aligned, the joint should align with the wheel valve.

When we removed the old gators we realised that none of the metal retaining clips had been inserted into the gators, this is especially worrying as they could fly out and cause damage to the car, a passing pedestrian or other cars. The paint on the wheels had been scratched and chipped.

Once removed we touched the wheels up, cleaned the wheels and installed a fresh set of gators.

Moral of the story ??
