Thus week's Guess the MOT Failure had plenty of great guesses!

The correct answer was...

๐Ÿšจ A severely corroded brake pipe.

Although the vehicle drove perfectly and had no warning lights or unusual noises, the brake pipe had corroded to the point where it was no longer safe, resulting in an MOT failure.

Brake pipes carry hydraulic brake fluid under extremely high pressure. If a corroded pipe bursts while braking, it can cause a significant loss of braking performanceโ€”something no driver wants to experience.
