It's also a sad day as this was the cars last test as I have decided to focus on just teaching automatic pupils from now on. So to all the pupils I've had the pleasure to teach changing gears in the last 20 years many thanks . I still see several while on lessons and its nice to get a 👋.

A great end to the day. Although it started to rain,young Ollie nailed his driving test. Passing 1st time with just 2 minor faults. Well done Ollie,you've done me proud enjoy your freedom when you get on the road.

Today marks 20 years since I started on my journey as a driving instructor. How times have changed. I started out with the company who taught me, LDC who were based up near Pontefract. In them days, a block of 10 lessons cost just £99. How things have moved on. Today I now run my own driving school,Crown School of Motoring and have had the pleasure of teaching some great people who I still see on a daily basis, while I teach the next generation of students.

Massive congratulations go to Megan. After a slightly nervous start to the drive before her test. Megan dug deep down to bury the nerves and showed the examiner what a good driver she is when focused on the task in hand. Result, a pass with no driving faults. This was also done with not just me sat in the back but with the area operations manager from the DVSA. Brilliant result Megan. Well proud of you.
