Our qualified team, can carry out servicing & repairs to your vehicle using the most up to date tools & equipment with a specific care to attention & detail. Intermittent faults can be some of the worst for eating up time.
This Peugeot had an intermittent short to ground causing a main ECU supply fuse to blow leaving France’s finest going nowhere fast 🇫🇷👨🏻‍🔧

Sometimes you’ve just gotta get stuck in..........

Mitsubishi Mirage with a driver complaint of strange odour inside the cabin traced to a leaking heater core saturating the carpets with coolant !

Dashboard removed & access gained to allow removal of the heater box. Not a particularly quick job but enjoyable and worthwhile nonetheless👨🏻‍🔧

Saturday morning and a “no crank, no start” Vauxhall was the pick of the bunch.

A global fault scan revealed a lot of module to module CAN communication issues. A quick check of the H/S CAN physical layer integrity headed me in the right direction.

Fault traced to water ingress of the Engine ECU causing a short on the high speed CAN network 👨🏻‍🔧

A little Citroen C1 with multiple warning lights illuminating and the horn sounding when the steering wheel was rotated made for an interesting job.

With the magic diagnostic computer providing NO fault DTC’s we were on our own with this one.......

Using a combination of manufacturer and third party wiring information the fault was traced to a short circuit within a junction block, a couple man hours and a dash removal later and this little Frenchie is ready to roll👨🏻‍🔧

An AdBlue fault on our own 4,000 mile/7 month old Ford Transit that would usually be covered under manufacturer warranty gave me an opportunity to test my skillset.......

Logical testing traced the fault to a corroded (yes Corroded !) wire within the main harness to the reductant control module. Not all that uncommon these days unfortunately.

A tidy wiring repair later and we’re back on the road 👨🏻‍🔧

A busy schedule meaning not many documented jobs of late, I did manage to catch this Ford Kuga with a running fault though.

A fault code indicating a fuel pressure issue led us to oscilloscope testing of the relevant circuits. A chafed wire within the main engine harness proved to be the cause of this failure........ with the soldering kit fired up and no parts required this car was fixed and back to its owner in good time👨🏻‍🔧

With the windscreen washer pump running continuously on this Mercedes SL500 it was down to us using O.E wiring diagrams to trace the fault to this corrosion within the signal acquisition module & rectify the problem👨🏻‍🔧
