Unfortunately for this customer his belt has failed, even more unfortunate is its outside the 2 year warranty we give. We replaced the belts on this learner car nearly 2.5 years ago. He does do a lot of miles but our warranty is unlimited mileage. Having covered 70k on the new belt it has broken down and requires changing again. We look after this car and he is on top of servicing so goes to show even with regular oil changes they still fail. We are doing a good will gesture towards replacement so he won’t be paying full price, just because we can. This is also the reason we do not fit the 16mm belt anymore, make sure to have the 18mm as the 16mm revision was worse than the originals so they changed it again which not many garages know #07879471891
