Well that didn’t hang around long

111,700 miles.

This is something a bit different, originally Electric Blue it was re-painted by a previous owner in (we think) BMW KITE blue … but please feel free to correct us on that !
It’s a magnificent job including shut lines and no visible overlap.

There's no rust in the common places around the rear lights or tailgate.
This has just undergone a HUGE recommissioning.
Both subframes and the underside overhauled, new brake disks and pads all round. Replacement rear calipers, a supercharger service with the associated works, water pump, new expansion tank, thermostat, valve cover gasket with new bolts, new alternator and a 17% KAVS reduced pulley.
There’s more too & just too much to list here.

It goes like a scalded cat and we’re in contact with the previous owner (with 120 points on his licence) to find out
‘whaaaat the hell have you done?’ Its just mental .. but not uncontrollable !

In addition to the mechanicals it's had some cosmetic upgrades too; a later 3-spoke steering wheel, LED Union Jack rear lights and xenon headlights. A Scorpion exhaust adds a bit of sound too.

The pictures will be updated shortly, if you want to get in quick before it really hits the open market its £2300.

Its in Norwich ATM but can be in Loughton Essex if you like the M25. Zzzzz

Early 2004 - 117,500 miles
Pure Silver, Black roof with Aero spoiler.
Panoramic Sunroof.
Half leather. Trip computer and temp functions.
It has just had a supercharger service with new water pump, expansion tank, thermostat, valve cover gasket & new bolts.
Plus oil and filters replaced. The radiator was replaced by previous owners.
No Mods.
No rust in usual places.
Very clean and straight bodywork.
Clean and tight headliner (no sags)
Mot August. 2 keys (that work)
Low owners, the last for 15 years.

This is ‘mid’ facelift so has the FL 3-spoke steering wheel and a few other updates but retains the clock pod & 5 piece dash etc.

The wheels although acceptable ideally need a refurb.
That’s just a JCW badge that was on it.
It isn’t a JCW 😉
This drives extremely well, for a completely standard R53 the power delivery is still impressive. The brakes & steering are pin sharp, there’s no rattles, squeaks or leaks…. drive this anywhere in confidence.

We’ve just lifted the interior of our stunning Chilli Red R53 (now available, details in the previous post)
The dash panels have been with our bodyshop for a while, the finish in exactly the correct shade is incredible, true professionals 👌
The silver rings are now a contrasting satin black to fit in with the overall theme.

That’s a shadow on the left BTW, & not complaining the suns out 🌞

We think it was worth the wait.
