Little bit of colour in the workshop this week, Volkswagen caddy in for the following work:

- Front coil overs and replaced with standard suspension and new top mounts
- Rear axle flip kit removed and suspension lifted to standard height, new locknuts and washers supplied.
- Rear shocks replaced
- EGR cooler and valve removed due to the pipes being cracked. Suitable blanks made and fitted.
- Customers new wheels fitted with all season tyres.

Another Vauxhall alloy saved from the scrap pile! I had to dig the previous repair out so there’s a little more new material than I’d have ideally liked. Nevertheless another little job ticked off the list.

Defender 110 TD5 being one of the many vehicles in the workshop this week. Focus of this visit being to cure the engine and transfer box oil leaks.

- Injector loom replaced along with rocker cover gasket
- Transfer box removed, degreased, all seals replaced, fresh oil and then refitted to the vehicle.

After the work was carried out we cleaned the engine bay making it easier for the customer and ourselves to detect any future oil leaks

Bmw 750D in for front air suspension strut replacement - the bag had split due to the shock oil degrading the rubber - all fixed and sat at normal height again!
