Job description
The ideal candidate must have some experience of working on commercial vehicles including; new panel fitment and repair/fitting of vehicle equipment.
Candidates will also under take tasks involving ambulance lighting, access ramps, internal and external equipment fittings. But in depth training will be given.
Due to the nature of the ambulance vehicles that are involved, a great attention to detail is required in all aspects of the job. In all cases, vehicles must be attended to quickly, therefore efficient working practices must be adhered to.
Full UK driving licence is needed, as some work is off site.
Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12pm Friday. Occasionally, when busy, overtime and Saturday working may be required but is optional.
Overalls and safety footwear will be provided
Paid breaks (except lunch)
Starting Wage £22,900 - £27,000 depending on experience

Ambulance Parts Limited provide various services to NHS Trust ambulances throughout the UK. They also supply to charitable services such as St John Ambulance and many independent ambulance services in the UK.
The company operate a parts service to their customers as well as on-site and off-site servicing and repair of customer's vehicles and equipment.
They also manufacture a number of their own parts which are fitted to both emergency ambulances and patient transport vehicles.
