It was a real privilege to welcome this absolutely pristine Mercedes into Long Sutton MOT & Service Centre.

A beautiful example of a car that has clearly been loved and looked after over the years.

Although, we’re feeling our age a little when we realise these are now firmly in classic car territory! Where has the time gone?

We always enjoy seeing something a little different come through the workshop, especially when it’s been kept in such fantastic condition.

‼️APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED ‼️WE’RE HIRING | MOT & SERVICE CENTRE RECEPTIONIST

Long Sutton MOTs is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable receptionist to join our busy MOT and Service Centre on a full-time basis.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can keep things organised and is confident juggling a few different tasks throughout the day.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play an important role in keeping the garage running smoothly, working closely with our MOT testers, technicians and management team.

What will the role involve?

• Welcoming customers and handling telephone and email enquiries
• Managing MOT, servicing and repair bookings
• Checking vehicles in and out and keeping customers updated
• Preparing invoices and taking payments
• Maintaining customer records and MOT reminders
• Supporting the workshop team with general administration

Who are we looking for?

Previous reception, customer service or administrative experience is important, along with good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to stay organised in a busy environment.

Experience working in a garage or the motor trade would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. We’re equally interested in finding the right person with the right attitude.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Location: Long Sutton MOTs, Wisbech Road, Long Sutton
Salary: Dependent on experience, to be discussed at interview

A few highlights from this weekend’s Hunstanton Soap Box Derby!

A fantastic effort from both the GDS Travel team and Long Sutton MOT & Service Centre, who swapped their usual day jobs for something with a little less horsepower and a LOT more gravity!

Brilliant builds, plenty of team spirit and a great day out from start to finish.

Huge well done to everyone involved, both teams absolutely threw themselves into it and did us proud! 👏
