Not a GSXR Suzuki but what a bike. This one belongs to a very good long term customer of ours.
The owner Mark travels daily in to Central London for work from Tring. Chatting with him yesterday while doing some maintenance on it at HQ, we used to look after his Honda CB600F that had 93000 miles on the clock, he had two GSF 1250 Suzukis after that but both suffered accident damage before achieving big mileages. Mark then chose this DL 1000 V Strom with just 8500 miles on it, on the journey to HQ yesterday it clicked its way over the 100,000 mile mark. The engine sounds sweet, ridden all year round in all weathers, apart from regular maintenance/Consumables etc Mark has replaced the rear Shock and some corrosion issues meant the silencer had to be replaced.
As said earlier, what a bike and if you need a big cc daily the V Strom Suzuki has got to be worth a go.
