Mercedes W213 in for water pump replacement after it had seized and failed. Customer broke down after smelling some sort of rubber burn. Towed in fault identified water pump removed and sourced from main dealer. Replaced and ready to go. Common problem on these 654 Mercedes engines.

Mercedes E Class W213 654 engine in for timing chain kit replacement along with oil pump and oil pump chain as well as the camshaft, rocker arms and hydraulic lifters being replaced. Engine out job as the chain is at the back of the engine. Car completed and all relevant gaskets and washers replaced when job was carried out. Road tested and handed back to our customer. We strongly advise using genuine main dealer parts when carrying out jobs like this as it is very extensive in labour and can’t afford to have any issues further in time.

Audi A1 tfsi in for clutch replacement as gear changes were not possible. Clear indication that there was an issue with the clutch. Upon removal we noticed the damage on the clutch pressure plate. Full 3 piece clutch kit replaced. Car was good as new after. removal

Mercedes GLA220d in for repairs as EML was on indicating an error with the intake manifold. Doing live tests we could confirm that the manifold wasn’t working as it should. Complete unit from main dealer was ordered and replaced. Once removed we inspected the manifold and could see that once the flaps were in the fully closed position they were stuck where it should automatically open and not be stuck at all.

Mercedes S350d in for camshaft and rocker arms replacement. Due to the rocker arms failing they damage and score the camshaft which requires replacement. Symptoms are a mild knocking noise from the engine when at idle and under acceleration. Full set replaced along with new injector washers and bolts and all new gaskets for rocker cover along with fresh oil and filter.

Lovely Rollys Royce Wraith in for its annual M.O.T test which it passed with flying colours. Lovely piece of engineering. You wouldn’t believe how silent this engine runs in person for how many cylinders it has.
